The Grand Eucharistic Adoration (GEA) was a grace-filled-experience of encounters and prayers. A grace that God has given to all pilgrims who attended and took the challenge of the ‘call to holiness’, as well as to the organizers and contributors who made the said event possible. It was held January 11, 2014 at the Don Bosco School in Makati.
Indeed, young people of today could respond to the call to holiness by spending time with God and having ears and a heart that listen in spite of the noise the world has. Holiness is to love, be loved, and make love loved, a certain invited speaker said. That means listening is the first step, then our response to the call can be concrete, for instance, living the faith in our daily life and by ‘going to the deep’ as the first disciples of Jesus did when He asked them to do.
We have enjoyed chatting, playing, taking pictures, praying, singing, dancing and sharing with the pilgrims during the youth festival. And most of all the moment of Adoration that we have seen, met and received more Christ’s presence and love for each one of us.
We thank and congratulate the main organizer of GEA, Don Bosco Days with the Lord Movement, especially Gerald Moscardon on behalf of the program team for inviting us to join, and actively participate in sharing the ‘call to holiness’ through mission, and for having this event a success for the Lord!
