A rich and fun-filled encounter with the young people from different places and Parishes was held at ESM-Manila, 11th May 2013.DSCF2424

Among the guests we had were Fr. Raleigh Siapno and some youth from the Shrine Parish of St. Joseph-Anonas, Fr. Ransom Rapirap, OCD with the members of the Parish Youth Ministry from the  Shrine Parish of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, New Manila. We also had some young people from Talim Island, Binangonan Rizal,  friends from Rodriguez Rizal, Lester from Christ the King Seminary, and the Schola Youth Choir from the Chapel of Sto. Niño de Violago, E. Rodriguez, with Sir Rowell Lobos.

The welcoming started at 4 in the afternoon with snacks, and letting our guests discover the different places in the house with a tour, and having an exchange of talks and stories. The program formally started with Praise–having songs and prayers together in the Chapel of the house, followed by the celebration of the Holy Mass.

DSCF2455Buffet dinner is served after, followed by a fellowship program where everyone has been introduced and welcomed! A Filipino youth would say, “Dumilim man o umulan, tuloy lang ang kasiyahan!” (Be it dark/cloudy  or rainy, the fun continues) because it rained for sometime during the encounter and everyone was in the garden that time, but it didn’t stop us to go on with the program, having it done in the space between the dining area and the Chapel. Presentations, games and sharing of the ESM students are remarkably great, as well as the performances made by the Schola Youth Choir from the Chapel of Sto. Niño de Violago.

As much as we would love to enjoy the company of each other, we ended the program with a prayer together with Mary, Mother of God.

We would like to thank you all, our guests and friends. It was indeed, an evening of blessings, graces, joy, festivity, youthful and wonderful encounter!

You are all welcome to visit us (again) in ESM-Manila!

Until our next encounters!
